Lighthouse Labs Vancouver: Employer Speed Interviewing

Meet our available Web Alumni! This is a great opportunity to shortlist quickly from a group of candidates.

We know hiring a Jr. is MORE about fit than skill, but it's tough to make a fit decision based on a quick skim of a resume.

Our Employer Speed Interviewing event is a new spin on things - a chance to jumpstart your interview process by meeting a large number of our alumni in a time efficient manner. 

Process:

Employers will be stationed at tables and given a note sheet which includes the names of the candidates they will be meeting with and a space for notes. Employers will keep their position while students, who will be in pairs, rotate between the employers. 

Each meeting will be ~10 minutes in length, with a 1 minute warning before a rotation is made.

Schedule:

• 5:15 - 5:30pm Registration
• 5:30 - 7:00pm Speed Interviews
• 7:00pm Mingle more with our students (optional)

Light refreshments are provided during the networking portion.

All of our students are available to start as full time Jr. Developers OR you can start them in a paid internship-style position, for a minimum of 3 months (avg. 3-4mo) and a minimum of $600/week.

Our Toronto Career Services team - Hilary and Lianne, will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about Lighthouse Labs, and arrange follow up interviews with our students.
