Description This course is specifically designed to prepare students for eligibility to apply for Lifeguard employment. Utilizing the American Red Cross Blended Learning curriculum, this course will combine online learning and in-water skills. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive certifications in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and Public First Aid and CPR Training (Title 22). Participants must be 15 years old by the last date of the class and able to swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for two minutes, and retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom of the pool. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY AT ALL CLASSES. Bring a swimsuit and a towel to every class. Fee includes all materials and certification fees. Class time and location subject to change. First Friday class will meet from 4:30pm-7:00pm at Eagle Park Pool. Class time and location subject to change.
