Become A City of Camden Certified Lifeguard Today

BECOME A CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD

If you’re a City of Camden, NJ resident, 16 or older and looking for a great part time job or a challenging career, that’s in demand, the City of Camden Lifeguard Program is one of the best places to start. Lifeguarding lets you work as part of a team to help people safely enjoy the water. You could even save a life!

Learning is fun and easy! Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, you’ll learn!

Requirements:

*City of Camden, NJ Residents ONLY

* Must be age 16 & up.

* Must be able to swim.

* We will provide training to pass lifeguard certification requirements.

* Successful completion may result in offer of employment.

Tryout Dates:

Febuary 11th & 13th, 2020 @ 5:30 pm

Equipment Needed:

Swimsuit, goggles, lotion and towel.

Must be available for:

Pool Days: Tues. & Thurs., at Camden Promise School, 250 Federal St. from 5:30 pm - 7:30pm

Classroom Day: Weds., at Isabel Miller Center, 9th & Carl Miller Blvd. starting at 4 pm

*Failure to be a City of Camden resident will require a $500 payment for course fee.
