 Pediatric Procedures, Practice & Playtime

The Ultimate Peds Emergency
Skills Review

For

Nurses, Paramedics, and
Respiratory Therapists

This one of a kind, hands-on review course, Pediatric Procedures, Practice, & Playtime was developed by Pedi-Ed-Trics founder and pediatric nurse expert, Scott DeBoer, to help reinforce the essentials of pediatric emergency care. During the morning sessions, attendees will be a part of a highly interactive pediatric medical and traumatic emergencies review with with breakout sessions that include the opportunity to work with human umbilical cords, bones, fetal pigs, and MORE!  After lunch, it's time to get messy and work with harvested pig hearts, lungs and tracheas. The hands-on portions of the class will enable students to better understand pediatric emergency/critical care anatomy and procedures… seeing things from the inside out!

This Pediatric Emergency Skills Pig Lab was made possible through
the generosity of the Kentucky Emergency Medical Services for Children
