Let's see "The White Crow" in Chatham & discuss at Marie's

Thanks to Paula who let me know that this was playing in Chatham. I'll have to see the Avengers another time! I've been wanting to see this film directed by and starring Ralph Fiennes when it came out and here it is.

Synopsis:
The incredible journey of the unique artist Rudolf Nureyev, as he escapes his poverty-stricken childhood in the Soviet city of Ufa to blossom as a student dancer in Leningrad. He becomes introduced to the epicentre of western culture in Paris in the early 1960s, leading to a nail-biting stand-off as he defects from the Soviet Union and transforms the world of ballet forever.

We'll see the 4:45pm show at Roberts Chatham Cinema (641 Shunpike Rd, Chatham Township, NJ 07928).

TICKETS: This is an old fashioned theater that does not have assigned seating. You can get tickets in advance though I have never seen it fill up. Be forewarned - they show one or two previews at most, so unlike at AMC, the show will start pretty much on time.

We will meet in the lobby after the movies end right outside the auditorium. I'll have a Meetup sign.

DINING: After the movie we will walk right next door to Marie's for the most delicious Italian food in the largest portions you've ever seen! Marie's is a BYOB, so plan accordingly.

PARKING:
There is free parking in the lot outside the theater and throughout this strip mall.

OUR NO SHOW POLICY: If you RSVP and your plans then change, I ask that you notify us and change your RSVP as soon as possible - definitely before the start of the event. It's unfair for the group to wait around after the film for people who do not show up. And it fouls up reservations made at the restaurants we visit. NO SHOWS WILL NOW BE WARNED ONCE AND REMOVED FROM THE GROUP AFTER THE SECOND OCCURRENCE. We keep a list of no-shows - please change your RSVP prior to the start of the event so you don't end up on it! Thank you for your consideration.
