BLACK HISTORY: WHAT LENSES ARE YOU USING?

Black History Month! The lenses we view our past, present and future will determine our perspective, attitude and behavior.  So let's continue to focus our lenses to keep moving forward in developing ourselves and community. This month is a social science view with a biblical approach of our society brought by Prof. Michael Ayers. 

 Presentation: "Population Ecology: The secret war against the Minority" 

Description: The science of Population Ecology deals with the dynamics of species populations and how they interact with the environment and how the population sizes of species change over time and space. In our society, just like the animal kingdom, there is a dominant group and then there are all others. The dominant group usually assumes the responsibility for the maintenance of the environment; ensuring there is enough food, water etc. for the population to enjoy. The secret war against the minority examines the relationship between the powerful Majority group and the powerless Minority group in an environment that will only yield a certain amount sustainable resources in a given time period.
