Dare To Lead™ for Educators : Creating Daring Classrooms

Educators – We see you and hear you and love you!! So excited to be offering this special DTL exclusively for educators! Make 2020 the year that you are going to invest in your classroom culture, your building and your entire community. Let's dive in to the challenges of leading young people who come to us heavy and armored up from life, mental health struggles, and desperate for a safe space to explore their social and emotional selves.

This Dare to Lead program is being held specifically for those working in the education space, from Superintendents through to classroom teachers (who lead young humans and older humans in their learning!) as well as School Counselors, Board Members and everyone in between.

The content will be tailored and build a bridge to the use of Daring Classroom materials.

Dare to Lead™ is designed for individuals who are ready to embrace brave leadership, shed their armor and show up with whole hearts in their work and life. Intuitive and interactive facilitation will guide the group through the actionable and measurable skill sets of daring leadership.

This two-day workshop, Dare to Lead™, is an empirically based courage-building program based on the most significant findings from Dr. Brené Brown's latest research which points to the fact that courage is a collection of four teachable, measurable, and observable skill sets. This interactive, engaging, and potent workshop will invite participants to deepen their ability to move from armored leadership to daring leadership in any arena.

COMPONENTS OF COURAGE-BUILDING:

Program modules includes:

• Rumbling with Vulnerability - Bravely embracing risk, uncertainty, and emotional exposure

• Living into our Values - Identifying, operationalizing, and practicing the personal values that guide us

• Braving Trust - Strengthening connections in relationships and teams based on the seven elements of trust

• Learning to Rise - Learning to reset when we fall

The experience involves 16+ hours of learning facilitated over two 8-hour days with a 1-hour break for lunch.
