This is no easygoing modern Sunday school, this is old-time religion. Late Nite Catechism is a hilarious two-act solo performance that’s part catechism class from back in the day, part stand-up routine. Dressed in her head-to-toe habit, Sister will command the stage at the Royal George Theatre in Chicago, taking you back to the days of Latin Mass and meatless Fridays when discipline meant a smack of the old ruler across the knuckles. You heard right, this interactive comedy turns the audience into Sister’s class as she rewards you, the “students,” for correct answers with glow-in-the-dark rosaries and other nifty prizes. Naughty students may well find themselves on stage, sitting in a corner while reflecting upon their naughty actions.
