LARP: The Dance and the Dawn

"Six sad and beautiful Ladies: they have lost their hearts. Six handsome Lords: their hearts have frozen over. A melancholy Duke, a cruel Queen, a haughty Prince: they preside over this midnight ball on the lonely Isle of Ice. The Ladies seek True Love among the strange and terrible Lords, but time is short; the dance ends with the Dawn... "

What: Dance and the Dawn, a live-action RPG.

When/Where: Houston Dance Factory. The larp is 4 to 5 hours long.

Who: 15 players and up to 3 assistants.

This is a gothic fairy tale romance larp, inspired by an RPG of the same name. (The RPG, which got nominated for a 2009 Indy RPG award, was written by Dev Purkayathsa. The LARP was written by Warren Tusk and has been run all over the world.) It's definitely one of my favorite games.

Some edibles will be provided during the game.
