LANDRY'S BICYCLE BASICS - An Introduction to Bike Maintenance and Repair

Please join us for a fun, informative experience focused on learning the basics of bicycle maintenance and repair!

What to expect:

  A great environment for learning taught by Landry's friendly and highly experienced mechanical staff.

• A class size no larger than 8 people (unless booking a private group).

• A free inspection of your bike from Landry's Service staff.

• The opportunity to ask questions about what matters most to you in a fun and casual environment!

What you'll learn:

• An overview of preventative maintenance.

• What tools you'll need to work on your bike at home or on the road.

• How to properly clean and lubricate your drivetrain.

• The basics of shifting gears and shifting adjustments.

• Best practices for flat prevention.

• How to change a flat tire.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Riding your bike? We hope so! Bring your bike with you into the shop!

Driving? We have free parking behind our building off of Winslow Road. Winslow is accessible via Comm Ave Eastbound or Babcock Street.

Taking the T? We're a short walk from the Babcock Street and Packard's Corner T stations on both the Green Line B Train and the 57 MBTA Bus Route.

What can I bring into the event?

You and your bicycle!

What's the refund policy?

Can't make it this time? We know things come up. Tickets are fully refundable up to 7 days before the class starts. We ask that you kindly give a minimum 7 days notice to allow others a chance to sign up for any vacant spots. 

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes! Please contact us to change the date of your registration. To give a class as a gift, see the question below.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Receive this class as a gift? Anyone with a valid ticket is welcome to attend!
