The Lake County Balloon Festival Launches in February

The Lake County Balloon Festival takes place 21st February to 23rd February 2020!

Featuring hot air balloons glowing at dusk (weather permitting), tethered balloon rides (weather permitting), the best food vendors, retail vendors and activities for the kids, this is a family friendly event for all of the family that you won't want to miss!

Admission to the event is charged per vehicle to offer the best possible value and to limit capacity for comfort and enjoyment. General Car Passes are $20 and includes parking and entry to the event for everyone in the vehicle. Maximum size Pickup / Minivan / large SUV.

Tethered rides can booked in advance from just $20 per person if purchased before February 1st, 2020 - $30 if purchased after that date or at the event (subject to available capacity).

Check out our new private tethered balloon rides for couples, where you will have your very own hot air balloon for a few minutes of alone time with your sweetie while taking in the event from above. If these flights are cancelled due to weather, guests will receive a coupon to use at future events.

Our VIP tickets give you access to a special VIP seating area including climate controlled bathrooms. On arrival you will receive a champagne toast plus seating with a great view of the main glow which takes place at 8pm. Weather permitting, VIP guests will be given a free tethered ride in one of our modern hot air balloons with ADA access. PLEASE NOTE: This ticket is non refundable as guests are paying for the hospitality portion of the package. A free, complimentary balloon ride is only available subject to suitable weather conditions.

NEW: Check out the new VIP Couple rides! These rides combine the benefits of the VIP tickets with a few minutes of alone time in your very own private hot air balloon with your own private pilot subject to suitable weather conditions. If for any reason the balloon ride is cancelled due to weather, guests for this package will receive a coupon to use at a future event for the balloon ride portion of this package. Tickets are non refundable.

At this event, we are pleased to offer hospitality in the exclusive Pilot Club. This area has private restrooms, exclusive Pilot Club Terrace seating, hot appetizers and champagne on arrival! Weather permitting, VIP guests will be given a free tethered ride in one of our modern hot air balloons with ADA access. PLEASE NOTE: This ticket is non refundable as guests are paying for the hospitality portion of the package. A free, complimentary balloon ride is only available subject to suitable weather conditions.

Terms and Conditions

*Event is rain or shine. Event = festival - food vendors, retail vendors, Kids Zone etc. will open regardless of weather conditions. The hot air balloons cannot and will not inflate in the rain or high winds for safety reasons, so even though the festival is rain or shine, this does not mean you will definitely see hot air balloons. Safety will always come first.

*All guests experiencing balloon rides must first sign in at our waiver desk to sign our insurance waiver. Here you will be given a token to hand to your balloon pilot when you ride. Without a token, you will be unable to ride. Your unique ride token will also act as your coupon at an event in the future should your balloon ride not take place due to poor weather conditions.

*All pre-booked ride guests must check in by 7pm each evening.

*Balloon activity is subject to suitable weather conditions. Should balloon activity be postponed, tickets will be valid at future Easy Events Group / Balloon Glow Tour events and / or rain out dates to be held if and as required.

*We only sell enough advance tethered ride tickets to account for around one hour of operation. If we lose a day or two to weather, this allows us to guarantee all pre-purchased tickets can be processed on other days of the festival.

*Tickets purchased through Eventbrite are strictly non refundable.

*VIP tickets and Pilot Club tickets are not balloon ride tickets. All of our VIP and Pilot Club guests are given a free balloon ride ticket as part of their package ONLY IF WEATHER PERMITS that balloon rides can take place. When you purchase a VIP or Pilot Club ticket, you are purchasing a ticket to access an exclusive area with air conditioned bathrooms and a champagne toast on arrival. Seating for VIP / Pilot Club guests is also included.

*Tethered rides will begin as close to 5pm as the weather conditions permit and will operate until 9pm or until weather conditions dictate. We will always extend operating hours if required due to a weather delay / late start.

*We advise guests to arrive in good time and to please be patient. These events can be very busy and this sometimes results in traffic congestion outside of the venue and / or lines for food / drinks / balloon rides. The best way to avoid congestion is to purchase in advance and follow advice and guidance on our social media channels and guest communications. THERE IS STRICTLY NO ADMISSION AFTER 8PM.

*Sometimes balloon activity can be delayed or curtailed by the weather - please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates on weather conditions and event information.

*The main balloon glow typically consists of around ten to fifteen balloons and will begin around dusk subject to suitable weather conditions. The main glow will last around one hour.

*Picnic blankets and camping chairs are permitted but no coolers or outside food / drinks please. Security checks will be in operation.

*All of our events are a strictly smoke free environment - please consider others and exit the park if you need to smoke. Thanks for your kindness!
