Ladies Only Intermediate Handgun Class

This will be a class for LADIES only!
You MUST own a gun to take this class.

This will be an intermediate class for women who are comfortable handling a gun on their own.

We will go over safety rules, techniques for accurate shooting, maintenance and malfunctions, traveling with firearms, practicing for real - life scenarios, shooting on the move and from behind cover, rapid fire and rapid reloads.

We will start in a classroom setting, briefly explore the gun section of Cabelas, and lastly transition to the Onion Creek Gun Club, an outdoor range in South Austin (15 mins N. of Cabelas) for hands-on experience.

What you need for the class:
- a handgun. (preferably in its case, or a range bag.)
- 500 rounds of ammunition for your handgun. (If you really enjoy shooting, bring 550!)
- 3 - 4 magazines for your handgun.
- an outside OR inside of the waistband holster for your gun.

- eye and ear protection.
- sturdy pants or shorts with pockets with a thick belt preferably leather. (Don't forget a belt or you won't be able to partake in crucial training.)
- closed-toed shoes.
- a shirt that is not low cut.
- water bottle, as it could be hot on the range.
- a light jacket, for use when practicing firing from concealment.

TIPS:
Please do not wear any long necklaces or large rings.
Fair warning: fake nails will get in the way.
Write your name on all of your belongings and ammo, many magazines look exactly alike, you want to leave with as many as you came with. No more, no less.
