Kentucky Valley Educational Cooperative’s (KVEC) third annual Micro-Credential Summit
This year’s forum will bring together representation from local, state, and national education organizations to learn from various organizations which use micro-credentials as part of an educator’s professional learning system.
Objectives of the convening include: understanding the direction of professional learning and educator licensure in various states, gathering information from states regarding the success and lessons learned using micro-credentials, and developing a sense of need for micro-credentials as a personalized professional learning pathway for in-service educators.
Day 1 will be a full day of learning and networking with others beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending by 4:00 p.m. Day 2 will begin at 8:30 and end before noon and will consist of formalized networking opportunities and a discussion regarding the development of a micro-credential national consortium.
