What is Kundalini yoga?
Kundalini yoga is called the yoga of awareness. It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul. An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras such as Sat Nam, meaning “truth is my identity.” The goal of this practice is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.
Kundalini yoga is a practical tool for everyday people. It is not posture based; therefore, it’s accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or body type. It’s powerful, efficient, and effective. It gives people the experience of connecting with their personal power, having a clear mind and a wholeness of being.
Gong Healing:
When we want to clean our bodies, we use soap and water. A Gong bath uses sound and vibration to cleanse us on the inside – emotionally and physiologically. Relaxing while the Gong is played is a unique and highly personal experience. During a Gong layout, all levels of your Being – physical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual – will benefit from the deep, healing resonance of the Gong.
Guru Gayatri Yoga Studio is very proud to consist of a team of accomplished, accredited, and recognized Yoga instructors. All our teachers are KRI Certified Level 1 Instructors.
