Kris D'Agostino presents the Antiques
This event takes place in our Brooklyn location.
THE ANTIQUES chronicles a week in the life of the Westfall family as a massive storm hits New York City, wrecking the family antique store, and three estranged siblings converge at their childhood home to mourn their recently deceased father. Amid dealing with the chaos of the storm and the memorial plans, the Westfall siblings are also losing control over their individual lives. Armie, the youngest, is struggling to grow up and move out of his childhood home. Middle child Charlie is balancing an emotionally challenged child and a demanding husband with her career as a Hollywood publicist. Josef, the oldest and most successful, is addicted to sex and obsessed with money. Complete with deeply flawed, affectionately rendered characters and a dynamic plot, THE ANTIQUES is a rollicking story of one family’s dysfunction.
Kris D’Agostino holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School. He is the author of The Sleepy Hollow Family Almanac. He lives in Brooklyn and is available for interview.
