Lara’s training is in the Vaganova method and she utilizes these fundamental building blocks of Classical Ballet to formulate her classes. At the same time, her aim is to find a balance between the rules and creating a safe, inviting space for movers of all levels to join together and enjoy the presentation of ballet as a performing art. Her goal is to make ballet not only accessible but a fun mode of expression in a welcoming environment.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! An absolute beginning class that will introduce basic dance vocabulary and emphasize proper posture, muscle development, flexibility, musicality, and grace of movement. Steps are introduced incrementally so that self-esteem and technique develop in a positive atmosphere. This class is highly recommended for first time students and those who are unfamiliar with basic dance technique.
