KING OF KINGS

This is a rare opportunity for an audience to experience the authentic entertainment of movie theaters in the early 1900s. Before the introduction of “talking” motion pictures, silent films were accompanied by live music, often created on-the-spot by in-house organists. The movie will be shown on a large screen in the sanctuary of Saint Paul’s Church, while David Briggs, international concert organist and virtuoso improviser simultaneously creates a live accompaniment to the movie, performing on Saint Paul’s 110-rank Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ.

Find more information about the film and the organist here.
