Key Steps to Starting your Own Business

The single 2-hour session will guide participants through brainstorming potential business ideas, creating the outline for their business.

This workshop will cater to adults who want to start a business on the side while leading busy lives that could include full-time jobs and family obligations.

Activities center on structured brainstorming sessions and each participant building a short PowerPoint presentation summarizing their business plan (a template is provided). At the end of the workshop, participants will practice their elevator pitch with presentations with a partner. Participants will leave the workshop with resources and inspiration to start their businesses.
