LET'S GO KAYAKING to PELICAN ISLAND and BBQ!

Hey Miami Adventurers!
Let s go Kayaking and Have a BBQ at Pelican Island!! Let s meet on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:15am. Grab your camera, sunscreen, water shoes, some goodies to BBQ & drinks and let s go!! It will be an awesome potluck BBQ!

PLEASE READ BELOW:

We ll kayak to Pelican Island and have an are BBQ! We ve had so much fun last time that we will continue doing our adventures through the waters. This is a light-hearted, relaxing fun paddle for all skill levels. We will paddle through the waterways, there are chances of seeing an array of different marine life such as manatees, stingrays and dolphins. Once we get to the Island we will have a BBQ and relax the day away!

DETAILS:
You can bring your own kayaks/paddle boards or rent one from iPaddleMiami.com. You MUST RESERVE your Kayak or Board in advance for 10:30am slot via iPaddleMiami.com

FOR THE BBQ: Please bring any items to cook on the grill or drinks to share with the group. This will be a potluck BBQ! Bring water for hydration, comfortable clothes/shoes that you don t mind getting wet as we will swim in the water.

RESERVE YOUR SPOT: You can use PAYPAL. Due to the limited spots there is a $5 fee to reserve.
This is to ensure that people who rsvp reserve their spot and anyone who doesn t will be cancelled so that it allows for the next person to join us on our adventures. We like to have fun and want everyone who joins to have the opportunity as well. If you reserve in advance and cancel 72 hours prior to event all funds will be refunded.

KAYAKS & PADDLE BOARD RENTALS:
You can bring your own Kayaks/paddle boards or you can rent one from iPaddleMiami.com. If you rent one they are $49 per 2 hours for single kayaks or double kayaks or $69 for 4 hours. Pairing up with someone is always best if you can. YOU MUST RESERVE YOUR KAYAK IN ADVANCE BY GOING TO iPaddleMiami.com Click PELICAN HARBOR AND RESERVE the Single or Double Kayak which ever works for you.

WEATHER - This trip needs to be free of lightning and thunder to begin; if we are caught out by lightning on the trip we will seek shelter and proceed when safe. Rain is OK - after all, it is a water sport but hopefully it will be a bright and sunny day.

PARKING- Parking is located at Pelican Harbor. Park anywhere it has city parking pay by phone.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE BRING YOUR MASKS AND KEEP SOCIAL DISTANCE FROM OTHERS. IF YOUR NOT FEELING WELL, PLEASE STAY HOME! WE WANT TO ALL HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE TOO!
