Kappa Delta's Annual Shamrock 5k

Take the opportunity to join us and make a lasting impact on the future of so many lives! On March 7th, 2020, the Beta Rho chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority at San Diego State University will host it's annual Shamrock event to raise money for the prevention of child abuse locally through Olive Crest and nationally through Prevent Child Abuse America. You can help make a difference in the lives of children by being a runner for the Shamrock 5k race or by simply donating to our cause.

Our goal is to raise $22,000 for the prevention of child abuse. The majority of funds-80 percent- will stay in our community to fund the incredible work being done by Olive Crest San Diego. The remaining 20 percent will go to Prevent Child Abuse America- the leading advocate for preventing child abuse and neglect among our nation's children since 1972.

Ticket Includes: Participation in Run/Walk, Shamrock T-Shirt (No Show, No Shirt), One Free Raffle Ticket, Foster Family Speakers from Olive Crest, Music, Numerous Vendors, Games, & More!

Packet Pick Up Details: There will be one early registration opportunity at the Kappa Delta Sorority House (5066 College Avenue San Diego, CA 92115) on Friday, March 6th from 2pm-5pm. On March 7th, early bird registration will begin at 7:30am. Registration will continue through 8:00am, and the Walk/Run will start at 8:30am!
