Jersey City Slam: Poetry Slam Semi-Finals

Jersey City Slam invites you all to check out our poetry slam. A poetry slam is a performance poetry competition with up to eight poets battling out for a chance to represent Jersey City at the National Poetry Slam!
The second half of our slam season has turned up the heat. We've seen a mixture of fan favorites, newcomers, and even Jersey City legends compete so far.
The semi-finals will feature eight poets who have dominated the first half. The top four poets will earn a spot in Finals and chance to compete at the National Poetry Slam. The winner gets all the bragging rights and a prize!

This slam is an INVITATION slam. Only people who have been invited can compete.
The OPEN MIC is for ANYONE who wants to hit the stage before the slam.
So come by Tea NJ, grab yourself a bubble tea and enjoy yourself. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts promptly at 7 PM. 
If you are an early bird come by for the pre-slam poetry workshop at 6 PM.
Admission is FREE
