JCC | Game for Autism & SPARK for Autism! [Revised]

[Revised] Attend our free event Game for Autism & SPARK for Autism! When was the last time you saw a video game arcade? 1980's and 1990's? This will indeed be a memorable experience for game lovers of all ages! Games are provided by Project CASY (Community Autism Socials at Yale) Mobile Arcade with virtual reality (VR) capabilities. We'll have non-electronic games as well (tabletop, lawn games, etc).

Once we recieve your RSVP, we'll also contact you with info on how to complete enrollment for SPARK, the largest genetic study of autism ever. The goal of SPARK is to speed up research and advance the understanding of autism. Learn more by visiting:

Please note that there are no age restrictions for Game for Autism & SPARK for Autism! However, attendees under 18 years of age must be accompanied at all times by their parents. Joining SPARK at Yale is hgihly encourged; however, siblings and friends who are not on the autism spectrum are welcome to attend as guests. We encourage parents to contact us [203-785-7539 or sparkforautism@yale.edu] if they have questions or need clarification regarding participation in the mobile arcade and the SPARK research study at Yale. We’ll also tell you how you can get a SPARK give-away on the day of the event!

GAME ON! Project CASY Mobile Arcade features numerous local multiplayer video games on the hottest gaming consoles: PlayStation 4 (PS4) Virtual Reality (VR), Wii U, Xbox One, and Switch. We will also have modern releases of retro gaming consoles from Atari, Nintendo, Sega, and Sony. For a complete list of games, please feel free to contact us. All ages are welcome to play Wii U, Xbox One, Switch, and retro games. Please note that PS4 VR is for adolescents age 12 years and older.
