2020 Outlook for Downstream, Refining, and Petrochemical Markets
Please join THEC at the January luncheon to hear from Kristine Klavers, Senior-Vice President at Argus Consulting Services, who will share facts and figures on the outlook of the downstream, refining, and petrochemical markets in 2020, as well as the role of a price reporting agency. We will be meeting on Tuesday, January 28, at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch at 1801 Allen Parkway from 12 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.

About the Speaker
Kristine Klavers is the Senior Vice-President responsible for Argus Consulting Services in America. She has over 20 years of experience in consulting and is an expert on global fuels, fuel quality and refining, and has strong contacts throughout the industry. Prior to Argus, Kristine led Hart’s consulting services, including the International Fuel Quality Center. She worked for Lyondell as an MTBE product specialist, and as a process engineer for a Japanese gasoline company in Japan. Kristine developed a catalyst for methane coupling at Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan and gained her MSc in chemical engineering from the University of Twente, Netherlands. Last year, she won CFA’s Best S&P 500 forecast award. She serves as a member of the National Petroleum Council (NPC) as appointed by the US secretary of Energy.
