Jaimie Branch: Fly or Die

Jaimie Branch is an avant-garde trumpeter and now vocalist. She’s been a mainstay of the Chicago jazz scene and active recent addition to the New York scene. Known for her “ghostly sounds” (
), Branch sucker-punches crowds straight from the jump-off. Her classical training and unique voice are featured on a wide range of projects in jazz, punk, noise, indie rock, electronic and hip-hop.
