Introduction to DSLR Photography with Benjamin Weatherston

Join us Thursday, March 23rd, from 6:30PM-8:30PM for Introduction to DSLR Photography with Benjamin Weatherston!


Benjamin is a well-known, local commercial/editorial photographer who does most of his shooting in the downtown Ann Arbor and metro Detroit areas. When he's not shooting, Benjamin teaches at Washtenaw Community College!


Benjamin's class will cover the basics of DSLR photography and costs $40.


Some of the topics that are covered:
- Elements of Exposure (Shutter speed, Aperture, ISO)
- What is a Digital Image? (Pixels, Resolution, Compression)
- Basics of a good image (subject, composition, color, contrast)
- Next level of image making (depth of field, lighting, point of view, macro)
- Moving out of P mode (A, S, M)
