Many teachers and parents initially focus on the ‘curriculum’ when they first encounter Waldorf Education. By doing so, they focus on content and miss the deeper essence of what a Waldorf education was initially intended to develop; namely, the development of a truly self-initiated means for thinking through any experience encountered in life.
The intention of this introductory workshop is to help participants see the greater capacities we can develop through a living thinking. These capacities can be developed not only by our students, but also parents and teachers. In this way, a school becomes a place where all involved become ever more awake to a more conscious, living aspect of human experience.
