What is Java? Why is it great?

Our Introduction to Java workshop is perfect for those interested in attending a Back-End Bootcamp at Grand Circus who need a deeper introduction into what working with a back-end language is really like.  You’ll learn the core functionality of the Eclipse IDE and other fundamentals of Java such as console applications, Boolean logic, arrays and loops. No idea what any of that means? No problem. We'll teach ya. Just looking to step up your developer chops, but not interested in attending a bootcamp? We can't wait to see you.

Back-end development is a great place for all kinds of creative minds; if you like to think big picture, give this workshop a try! Interested in C#.Net? This workshop is a great place to start. We firmly believe once you get comfortable with one back-end language, it's much easier to learn another. You will save all your work in your coding portfolio, too, giving you something to show off and expand upon once you're done.

Are you a hospitailty-industry professional looking to change careers? We are here for you. We now offer our Introduction to Front-End Development and Introduction to Java workshops over two consecutive Mondays so you don't have to give up a Saturday shift. Come learn with us on your dark night!

We offer this workshop several Saturdays a month, as well as over two consecutive Mondays for those who can't attend a Saturday workshop.  Class will run on Saturdays from 9:00am - 5:00pm or Mondays from 6:00pm - 9:30pm. You will register only for the first Monday you plan to attend; class will also meet the following Monday.
