This workshop is for individuals interested in the process of encaustic painting. Encaustic painting is hot wax painting during which heated beeswax is pigmented and layered on a painting to add texture. In this class we will go over the safety, materials, process, and creative possibilities of this medium. You will create an encaustic piece that includes the layering of encaustic pigments.
