Are you thinking about joining a
Python is a versatile computer programming language that can be used for Data Science, Machine Learning, and server-side Web, software, and game development. This workshop introduces the learner to basic programming concepts that will be applied to in-class practice exercises and a real-world mini-project. You’ll write real Python code using the Visual Studio Code development environment and apply what you’re learning in a mini-project, which will expose you to practical applications of Python programming to solve a familiar practical problem and give you something to continue practicing on after the workshop.
Student Prerequisites:
The student should be comfortable operating their laptop: Starting up, opening software, copying and pasting, opening a web browser, searching the web, going to a specific URL (web address), and navigating within a website.

Getting to class:
Grand Circus is in The Broderick Tower, located at 1570 Woodward Ave - please use the Woodward entrance (not the entrance off of Witherell) - you will see a set of gold doors with a Grand Circus sign in the window. From the lobby, take the elevator up to the 3rd floor, check-in at the front desk and we'll direct you to your classroom.
