Intro to Natural Dyeing (Evening Series) - New York, NY 2020

Instructor: Hannah Schultz In this 6-hour class, students will learn the basics of dyeing fabric using natural materials such as flowers, bark, roots and leaves, including how to extract colors, what are mordants, and how to use them to fix color. -- All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. This class doesn't include access to free Open Studio. The Evening Series are short in-depth classes, focused on techniques and projects that students can easily continue exploring on their own, at their home (studio).
