Intro to Power Yoga Series (Led by Leah Vasiliadis and Tommy Moorman)

In this series, we will cover Baron Baptiste’s “Journey into Power” sequence, which is deeply rooted in the traditional teachings of Iyengar, Bikram and Ashtanga. There are 11 families of poses which include the essential categories of standing poses, forward bends, backbends, twists and inversions.

The sequence HI FI YOGA is teaching is adaptable to "every bodies”. It is like a blueprint that encourages creativity no matter where you are at in your practice.

Every time you’re on your mat, EMPOWER yourself to be intentional in creating the physical foundation of the pose and to discovering new possibilities in your practice and life.

The whole sequence will take 90 mins to complete. We will break down each pose during the first two sessions, helping you fully understand the pose and how the pose should feel. For the 3rd and 4th sessions, we will go through the entire INTRO 2 POWER YOGA SERIES giving you the foundation to join any yoga class with confidence and fortitude.

If you’re brand new or not a member to our studio, you can purchase a 30 day unlimited for $50 (regularly $125). You can start the package anytime, during the Intro Series, or when you complete!

Workshop fee includes a copy of Baron Baptiste’s book Journey to Power and a HI FI YOGA hat.

Who is this series for...

All levels, but primarily beginners or yogis who want to deepen their practice. If you consistently practice, but struggle with feeling the poses, this workshop is for you. If you’re brand new or somewhat new to yoga, this series will give you an advanced knowledge for all poses used in a Vinyasa style studio like HI FI YOGA.
