Interpreter Training Workshop - Cancer Genetics

This is a workshop for interpreters in health care. Help improve your understanding of content and vocabulary you may encounter in cancer genetics appointments.

You will learn about:

• genes, chromosomes, mutations, and risk

• the purpose of genetic testing

• the work of genetic counselors

• in general terms, what happens in an appointment with a genetic counselor regarding cancer genetics

Register for this interpreter training class soon as space is limited to the first twenty paid applicants.
