The International Vegan Film Festival is a trailblazing event dedicated to celebrating the vegan ideal: a healthier, compassionate, environmentally friendly lifestyle that can be achieved through the consumption of plants and animal-free alternatives.
On Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 6:30pm, the short-film festival screening will be hosted by the Palmetto Plant Eaters Club, Savannah Veggies & Vegans, and the local Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry chapter at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry at 110 Malphrus Road in Bluffton, South Carolina. Doors will open at 6pm and the films will begin at 6:30pm. Please view the International Vegan Film Festival 2019/2020 trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watchv=QQBKyWnUJ40
Tickets are $10 online and $15 cash at the door. Proceeds will fund the event expenses (screening fee, facility rental) and benefit Lowcountry VegFest 2020 and the local Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry chapter.
The event will feature a vegan movie snack potluck. During intermission we will enjoy a wide variety of fun treats brought by those in attendance. There will be a Q&A session after the film series.
Additionally there will be a silent auction of fantastic raffle baskets from the cancelled Lowcountry VegFest 2019. Be sure to show up early to browse and bid. Bidding will be accepted until the Q&A portion of the evening and winners will be announced after the Q&A.
