Dr. Michael Blouin, Professor, Integrative Biology, OSU will present a seminar entitled "Genetics of Disease Resistance in a Snail Vector of Schistosomiasis." The Blouin Lab studies the transmission of schistosomiasis, a serious parasitic disease of humans in tropical regions in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
