Integrating Outcomes in Clinical Care

Course Description:

Funding sources, credentialing bodies, and consumers all want to know if the services you are providing are effective.  Without outcome measures, you are unable to know if what you are doing is working.  This training focuses on identifying how to measure outcomes efficiently, how to communicate the results of outcome measures, and how to integrate outcome measures as an engagement strategy in treatment.

Goals:

• Understand the importance of providing feedback to clients
• Gain an understanding of outcome metrics--both relating to specific treatement and general outcomes
• Gain an understanding of how to use outcomes as an engagement tool in treatment

Objectives:

• Participants will be able to identify 3 broad domains reflecting clinical outcomes
• Particpatns will be able to identify at least 3 specific strategies for integrating outcome measures in treatment
