In this Innovation Challenge, we invite you—with advice from industry experts and faculty—to conceptualize applications and marketing plans for underperforming IP. (Sometimes a group of innovators—attacking the issue from oblique angles—can discover novel solutions.)
Rewards. $2000 in prize money will be distributed among the teams with winning solutions. Trophy for school for best overall solution presentation.

October 4 (on or about) – Company reps available to answer questions via conference call
October 18 -- Friday (5:30a–9:30p) Dinner provided. Select a challenge and team—if you have not already done so. Discuss alternative approaches to solving challenges. Select a solution and test technical and market assumptions.
October 19 – Saturday (9:00a–4:00p) Breakfast and lunch provided. Confirm assumptions, conduct competitive and market research, prepare solution PowerPoint. Pitch your recommended solution 2:00 – 4:00 pm to panel of company rep.
Intellectual Property Rights. By participating, attendees acknowledge that challenge sponsors earn the rights to all intellectual property and recommended solutions in consideration of prize money. Companies may award multiple prizes and may, at their discretion, sponsor additional R&D on mutually agreeable terms.
