Infusing Medicine into Fiber: Plant Walk & Botanical Dye

In this two-part one day workshop we will weave together the teachings of local healing plants and natural dye eco-art. We'll begin with a short plant walk and harvest lead by Alex Rea of Black Locust Gardens Herb Farm, who will share with us her wisdom of a few medicinal plants growing on their 30 acre herb farm. Part two will be lessons in a natural dye project imprinting the very plants we harvest into natural fibers, lead by natural dyers Corinne Denomme (White Pine Rising) and Gaylyn Kaufman (Nature Renewal, LLC).
