If you've ever played a game, you can do improv. Improv is rooted in playing games which give us an outward focus that transforms us inwardly like a mantra in meditation. This on-going weekly 'drop-in' class invites us to get back to that effortless sense of play through a focused series of games. These games, while fun, also build an improv foundation. They heighten our listening, deepen our trust of ourselves and others, ground our play, and get us out of our heads. These games are designed to teach the basics of improv while releasing intuitive, inspired choices and allow us to act spontaneously, in the moment.This class allows players to "dip a toe" into improv in order to learn what improv is all about.
The class is open to all! Whether you've been studying improv for a while or you're just getting started, this class is for you! Come join us and play!
