Cal's very own Professor Michael Eisen, one of the head food science advisors at Impossible Foods, will be giving Food Science and Technology at Cal's first tech talk of the year! Join us as we discuss the sensory science and chemical engineering behind plant-based meat, and more!

ABOUT PROFESSOR MICHAEL EISEN AND THE EISEN LAB:
Professor Michael Eisen and the Eisen Lab, on top of their work with Impossible Foods, concern themselves with transcriptional enhancers, Zelda and the specification of enhancer identity in the early Drosophila embryo, enhancer evolution, developmental timing, microbial manipulation of animal behavior, and the interactions between flies and yeasts.
