Master percussionist and bandleader Steve Kroon brings his all-star quintet into Clement's for an evening of high energy Latin jazz

Steven Kroon has been a professional musician for more than 45 years. Born in Harlem, he is mostly noted for adding his percussion sounds to the great late vocalist Luther Vandross from, 1981 to 2001, as well as recording and touring with Ron Carter. He has also recorded and performed with much of the “Who's Who” in the music business, such as Stanley Turrentine, Roberta Flack, Bette Midler, Aretha Franklin, Diana Krall, Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, just to name a few. He si also an bandleader and has Six CD's released in his name: “In My Path," “Senor Kroon,” “El Mas Alla” (Beyond), "Without A Doubt" (Sin Duda), On The One, and his latest "In Your Dreams," which has received great radio play and great reviews. He has beena Downbeat Critics poll winner from 2016 through 2019.Steve's Latin jazz Sextet blends Afro Cuban and Brazilian music and features veterans of the NY jazz and Latin jazz scene - Igor Atalita - Keyboard, Donald Nicks - Bass, Bryan Carrott - Vibraphone, Craig Rivers - Flute, and Joel Mateo - Drums.
