Join us as we sample juice from Jeff's latest wine project, IGNI, all whilst snacking on juicy brisket from Hometown BBQ. Lovers of Italian reds and finger-licking good barbecue snacks, this one's for you.

Cost: Free (includes wine tasting & snacks from Hometown BBQ)

All wine poured at the tasting will be sold with a 10% discount. Purchases of 6 bottles or more will receive a 15% discount.

Jeff Porter has been a respected staple of NYC's sommelier community for decades. After working numerous years with the Batali-Bastianich group, Jeff ventured out on his own and now consults on various projects across the city, including Red Hook Tavern. His passion for Italian wine led him to create IGNI, a joint collaboration with Shelley Lindgren, wine director at San Francisco's A16 restaurant. After 15 years of friendship, the duo realized their shared passion for lesser-known Italian varieties and regions, which helped build the foundation for IGNI. IGNI is vinified in conjunction with the Picini family, whose vineyards are located in the heart of Basilicata. Together, Jeff, Shelley, and the Picinis believe that this inaugural bottling gorgeously reflects the unique volcanic terroir of this unmissable region.
