IGDA NYC Coffee & Ice Cream Social

Held the third Monday of every month at an ice cream parlor rather than a bar, our socials are alcohol-free, family-friendly, and open to all ages. 

We'll be hanging out at Ample Hills Creamery in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The menu features whimsical, handcrafted flavors, including sugar-free and dairy-free vegan options, plus hot chocolate and coffee drinks. Head upstairs to the second-floor lounge, or the roof deck in good weather.

Come grab a cone or a cuppa and hang out with fellow game devs!

FAQs

Is the ice cream free?

Nope, sorry! We don't provide the ice cream, we just pick a common place and time to meet up. 

We want make sure our hosts are always happy to see our group, so you can help out by placing an order, tipping generously, and cleaning up afterward. Please, no outside food or drink.

Can I bring my kids?

Please do! Children and families are welcome, and there's even an indoor play area with toys for the little ones.

Can I bring a game to play or playtest?

Sure! You're welcome to bring your own games to playtest, or a fun party game that that the group can enjoy. Something quick and simple without a lot of pieces or setup would work great!
