Huntington Lacrosse Memorial Alumni Game
Please come join us on Saturday June 17, 2017 for the 34th annual Huntington Memorial Alumni Lacrosse Game. 2017 marks 60 years of Huntington lacrosse so please come and enjoy the day! The annual classic will be played at 1:30pm on the HHS turf field this year. We have changed the date of the game this year to Father's Day weekend in an effort to attract more Alumni. We are going to Honor all of our fallen Alumni by playing the game in their memory over Father’s day weekend. Coach Paul McDermott has created a special edition jersey for this year's game. On top of the entry fee of $50 which covers (jerseys, insurance, Kyle Kirst Memorial trophies, HBC, Beer and food) we are going to make a strong Blue Devil effort to raise money for the HHS Boys and Girls programs and their respective Alumni Associations for future scholarships and other needs.
Sticking with HHS tradition we will start the weekend's festivities on Friday night at Finnegan's to discuss rides and clears. Always a great opportunity to grab a table with old friends and break bread and have a pint or two…..or…..12!
We will be adding the HHS Women's Alumni game to our pre and post game festivities this year so arrive early to catch their game starting at Noon. The HHS Girl's coach Kim Gilroy is spearheading this great effort!
After we have honored our Boys and Girls 2017 HHS Lacrosse Alumni Award winners at halftime and played a memorable Alumni game we will bring the festivities back to the Harbor Boating Club for a post-game BBQ. ‘89 Alum Brian Lynch has once again secured the beautiful club for us to respectfully enjoy the day. Please register and buy a ticket or make a donation today. This will help us plan the day with a solid headcount.
