Join Emily Hojnowski of Hunt's Photo Education as we explore and photograph historic downtown Salem, MA. On this walk we will discuss settings and techniques for long exposures, architectural photography, subject development, black and white photography, and composition. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend!
The city of Salem is synonymous with the Salem Witch Trials of the late-1600s, and although the trials took place outside what is now commonly known as Salem, the city has adopted them as part of its identity. Many of the city’s cobblestone walks, 17th-19th century houses & architecture, and cemeteries have been maintained, reflecting Salem’s identity as a haunted community. Our route will take us down many of these streets in the downtown area for fantastic low light and night photography opportunities!
