PRACTIONER WORKSHOP – PART OF THE ESSENTIALS PATHWAY TRAINING

Have taken our Ambassador workshop or some foundational Human-Centered Design Thinking training and want to learn more. Than this is the workshop for you.

Human-Centered Design Thinking is a proven methodology that provides a flexible framework for creative problem solving. Participants in this workshop acquire a deeper set of skillsets to advance their foundational Human-Centered Design knowledge. 

The Design Academy "Practitioner" badge is earned by completing a face-to-face, interactive, one-day workshop led by industry professionals followed by mentorship hours on a specific project of your choice. The one-day workshop is an intensive session to refresh and prepare participants to strategically approach a unique project. Supplemental mentorship hours offer continual support to keep project leads on track and provide feedback throughout the process.

Participants connect and provide peer support through project milestones.

Some pre-work is required.

Prerequisites

A demonstrated, basic understanding of Human-Centered Design Thinking principles proven through achievement of The Design Academy "Ambassador" badge or approved equivalent is required for acceptance into this workshop. 

About Human-Centered Design Thinking

Human-Centered Design Thinking allows participants to more effectively solve the "right" problem, understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders, promote collaboration between teams, and integrate a framework for innovation. This workshop is ideal for, but not limited to, corporations, social/government organizations and entrepreneurs interested in gaining a deeper understanding of Human-Centered Design application.
