We're kicking off our 10th Anniversary Season with bestselling author & screenwriter Siobhan Vivian with her new novel WE ARE THE WILDCATS and Ashley Woodfolk with her novel WHEN YOU WERE EVERYTHING!
Siobhan and Ashley will talk with Oblong Books' co-owner and YA Society co-founder Suzanna Hermans!

We Are the Wildcats is a deeply suspenseful novel that unspools over twenty-four hours through six diverse perspectives. In this testament to the strength and resilience of modern teenage girls, a toxic coach finds himself outplayed by the high school girls on his team who will have readers cheering.

Siobhan Vivian is the author of Stay Sweet, The Last Boy and Girl in the World, The List, Not That Kind of Girl, Same Difference, A Little Friendly Advice, and the Burn for Burn trilogy, cowritten with Jenny Han. A former editor for Alloy Entertainment, she received her MFA in creative writing at the New School. She teaches creative writing at the University of Pittsburgh.

For fans of Nina LaCour's We Are Okay and Adam Silvera's History Is All You Left Me, When You Were Everything is a heartfelt and ultimately uplifting novel follows one sixteen-year-old girl's friend breakup through two concurrent timelines--ultimately proving that even endings can lead to new beginnings.

Ashley Woodfolk has loved reading and writing for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor of arts in English and currently works in children's book publishing. She writes from a sunny Brooklyn apartment, where she lives with her cute husband and her cuter dog. She is also the author of The Beauty That Remains. Follow her on Twitter at @AshWrites.
