Hudson Valley Green Drinks 20 June 2018

This month, our special guest is the Citizens’ Climate Lobby - a non-profit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change. They are focused on generating the political will necessary for passage of their Carbon Fee and Dividend proposal.  To do this, they train and support volunteers to build relationships with elected officials, the media and their local community.  Their chapters are organized by congressional district.  The Mid Hudson South Chapter covers the NY18 congressional district served by Representative Sean Patrick Maloney. It includes Orange, Putnam, and Southern Dutchess Counties. 

General Description: Join a like-minded group of folks working to make the Hudson Valley - and everywhere - more sustainable for man, beasts, plants, and everything else.  Come to discuss the latest events. Celebrate the victories! Collectively lament defeats.  Or just reflect on the fact that you're not alone.
