Howto Raise a Young Gentleman Summer Seminar

The Etiquette and Leadership Institute of Indiana (ELII) would like to invite young men ages 8 - 15 to attend the “How to Raise a Gentleman Summer Camp Seminar” at the Courtyard Indianapolis Castleton, 8670 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250-1678, July 16th – 21st, 2018 (5:30 - 7:30p.m.).

This summer camp is designed to engage young man in a variety of areas; i.e., confidence building, inner awareness, verbal confidence, perceptions management, dining skills that will last a lifetime and much more…

Day 1: Monday – July 16th:

Understanding the meaning of Manners, Rules of Etiquette, and Protocols

Essential tips and rules of a facilitator leading to conflict resolution

Day 2: Tuesday – July 17th:

Making a fantastic introduction using the 8 Ingredients of an Introduction

Perception management (how we see ourselves / how others see us)

Day 3: Wednesday – July 18th:

Dressing for success

**How to tie a tie and bow tie

**How to mix and match your wardrobe

Respecting women, what young man needs to know

Day 4: Thursday – July 19th:
Art of Communication: 2-minute speech (video) on 1 of 3 topics:

**Who am I?

**My goals in life are?

**Who is my role model?

Day 5: Friday – July 20th:
Improving your exceptional dining skills with a five-course meal

ABC’s of table manners.

Rules of tipping

Day 6: Saturday – July 21st:
Applying learned dining skills with a five-course meal at locale four-star restaurant
