Houston Turkish Festival 2020

27th Houston Turkish Festival will be held downtown Houston to celebrate Turkish heritage and culture, including authentic Turkish cuisine, Turkish coffee, live music, traditional folk dancing and kids’ activities, arts & crafts, and a Grand Bazaar. Houston is a truly cosmopolitan city and we are proud to present some of the Turkish aspects of this mosaic. Our goal is to increase, promote and foster friendships by raising the public awareness and understanding of the Turkish culture and traditions while providing entertainment and learning. The festival Grand Bazaar, nearly 20 booths and stands, offers a wide variety of handcrafts and souvenirs reflecting the art and traditions of the Turkish culture. 

The 2-day festival will feature a live concert on Saturday night by New York Gypsy All Stars followed by winning performances by Folk Dance Group from Turkey as well as a collage of other live Turkish Folk Music performed by Ismail Lumanovski and Hoppa Project, Turkish Folk Drum Show and ATA Houston Children’s Choir. We hope our guests will get an opportunity to celebrate, learn, and savor Turkish hospitality, culture, heritage and cuisine during the Turkish Festival 2020.
