The House Always Wins Fundraiser

Grab your best 1920’s attire and join us for a night of live music, dancing, and gambling! Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available all night. Parking is available at the adjacent city owned Duke Street parking garage and can be validated at the front desk.

How Clare House is serving women and children in our community:

• Clare House offers up to a year of safety and opportunity for women and children experiencing homelessness in Lancaster County

• Last year, Clare House received over 300 calls of inquiry for shelter and for assistance in a time of need

• 40 women and children have been housed in Clare House since 2018 (our last “House Always Wins” event)

• 65% of all participants finish programs with full-time employment. Our families contribute to a viable workforce in health services, child care, retail, publishing, customer service, food service, and HR

• 2/3 of the families served have mental health diagnoses in addition to being survivors of domestic violence and childhood abuse. At Clare House, these families are finally safe to prioritize their treatment needs

• 75% of all successful graduates elect to use our Aftercare support which continues to serve them with case management for 6 months after residency
